Selector Chart

Selecting the right standard is an important and crucial initial step in the process of achieving compliance.
The following table lists the main product categories for the European and international standards. If your product is not specifically listed, the the relevant standard is probably one of the generic standards. There is a choice of two depending on the environment in which the product will be used.
Note that the Australasian standards are very similar to the European equivalents but have different numbering.
FCC standards in the USA use similar test techniques to EN55022 and have similar limits.
The Laplace EMC analyser software packages include all common EU, FCC and AS/NZ limits as standard.
