Radiated RFI to IEC61000-4-3

The radiated test equipment comprises:

  • RF1000, RF2000 and RF3000 signal generator. Fully compliant with IEC61000-4-3, these PC controlled synthesiser includes an exceptionally powerful Windows package for control, programming, monitoring, display and logging of results.
  • A range of power amplifiers. Standard outputs from 8W to 24W continous. Provides ample power to create over 10V/m in any small efficient test cell.  Higher powered amplifiers are available if required.
  • LaplaCell 300/2 This benchtop cell is a completely screened chamber in which uniform fields can be created with input. Designed for EUR sizes up to 30cm cube. Internal useable volume is 45 x 35 x 30 cm.
    For larger products the LaplaCell 600 can accept items up to 60 x 60 x 60 cm and is capable of testing a 19 inch rack mounting unit 13U high.

    The above range provides a choice in frequency range ( up to 1GHz, 2GHz or3GHz) and cell size. Selecting the items to suit your own requirements will provide you with a complete unified package for RFI immunity testing. BONUS: the cell can be used in conjunction with an EMC analyser such as the SA1002 or SA3000 to provide an emissions measurement system. One cell provides the host environment for an integrated immunity and emissions test system!

    Conducted RFI to IEC61000-4-6

    Two systems are offered:

    • A 'conventional' system comprising:
      • Main control unit and signal generator, CIT-10. This powerful unit includes all you need (apart from coupling devices) to conduct fully compliant testing. This includes:
        • Signal generator
        • Power amplifier
        • RF millivoltmeter
        • Control software
        • PC interface and Windows application software
      • CDNs and calibration fixtures must be specified to suit the application.
    • An 'Advanced' system comprising:
      • RFC4/6 Synthesiser, including:
        • Signal generator
        • Control software
        • PC interface and windows application software
      • RF1023 Power amplifier
      • Enhanced CDNs to suit the application (no calibration fixtures required)

     The 'Enhanced' system offers benefits in terms of speed, accuracy and cost effectiveness. However, be aware that this system can be used in a fully compliant conventional manner but when used in the 'Enhanced' mode does not strictly adhere to the IEC standard.
