RF100 Near Field Probes
 

Near field probes are an essential tool for the location of emission sources once the 'problem' has been detected in the far field. The set includes both an E field and an H field probe complete with storage case. Careful use of the probes will track down emission sources down to the nearest component in the case of point sources, locate leaks from enclosures (round doors, ventilation slots, panel joints etc.) and identify problem cables acting as aerials. They feature a unique flexible moulding to allow you to reach inaccessible locations. Curves of relative sensitivity are included with each probe. 

	H-Field
	Balanced Faraday Screened Loop 50ohm BNB Detection of near field current (low impedance) sources Rejection of E-Field makes this probe the ideal tool for most 'EMC Sniffer' tasks
	E-Field
	Simple antenna 50ohm BNC Detection of E- Field signals A very short range Used for high impedance source signals such as produced by inadequately grounded circuits
