Laplace Instruments Kits: Conducted RFI

IEC61000-4-6 conducted immunity test systems require two elements... the main part (common to all systems) comprising the signal generation, amplification, control and software elements, and the other part being the injection devices which must be matched to the EUT cables.

Laplace offers two different systems (kits) which provide integrated solutions for this requirement. Each kit comprises the 'main' part leaving the selection of the injection devices free for the user to select from the wide range that we offer.

The difference between the two systems is in the calibration of the applied RF level. The IEC61000-4-6 standard requires that the calibration of the input RF signal is achieved using a particular indirect technique. Our CIT-10 system is fully compliant with this technique. We also offer the RFIC system which uses a modified technique for the calibration of the RF signal. Whilst not following the standard exactly, it does provide complete assurance that the applied signal is precisely at the level specified, and provides other benefits too. (see Technical Paper)

Each kit (or system) is complete with .....

The devices for the injection of the RF onto the EUT cables are normally CDNs. We have a full range of CDNs to cover all standard cable types. The CIT-10 system uses 'conventional' CDNs whilst the RFIC system uses 'enhanced' CDNs. The enhanced CDNs offer 2 benefits......

BCI clamps and EM clamps can also be supplied if required.
