Laplace Instruments Kits
We typically supply integrated test kits. Each can be tailored to suit particular requirements. They fall into the following categories:-
RFI - RF radiated immunity testing.
This kit is based on a LaplaCell plus signal generator (synthesiser) and power amplifiers. It fully complies with IEC61000-4-3 and IEC61000-4-20. This is a complete, integrated system which requires no additional items.
RFIC - Conducted RF immunity testing.
These kits cover the IEC61000-4-6 requirements for the injection of RF interference onto cables connected to the product under test. These kits include all that is required for a complete solution, including a wide range of CDNs (Conventional, versatile and enhanced).
RFC, RFG & RFL - Emissions measurements.
The RFC- kit is for conducted emissions only, comprising the analyser and LISN or voltage probe. The RFG- kit is designed for radiated emission measurements using any approximation to an OATS (Open Area Test Site). This may be any outdoor area or reasonable large room indoors. It includes a reference source and is complete with powerful PC Windows software. If both radiated and conducted test are required, add the required LISN, voltage probe and pre-selectors as options to the RFG- kit.
The RFL- kits are an alternative based on the LaplaCell, EMC test cell. It achieves the same end result but without the need for an open area test site. This avoids the complications of test site calibration and ambient noise.
CLIENTS - combined RF emissions and immunity testing based on test cells.
These systems are ideal for checking the EMC characteristics of new products. They offer a benchtop facility capable of speedy and convenient assessments of a product both during the design and prototyping phases, and the final product. For sheer convenience and cost effectiveness, these systems are unbeatable.
